Claire Pershan

Claire Pershan is based in Brussels, Belgium, where she works as EU Advocacy Lead at the Mozilla Foundation. Previously, she was a policy coordinator at the EU DisinfoLab, an NGO specialized in monitoring mis/disinformation and influence operations. And prior to that, she was project manager at Renaissance Numerique, a Paris-based think tank dedicated to ensuring a just digital transition. She has contributed as an expert to the European Commission Joint Research Center's work on Hybrid Threats, and as a content expert for Internews on the influence of new technologies on civic space. Claire holds a master’s degree in human rights from Sciences Po School of International Affairs, a bachelor's degree from Pomona College, and she was a 2020 Internet Governance Forum Youth Fellow.
