Frederike Kaltheuner

Frederike Kaltheuner leads Privacy International's programmatic work on data privacy and security. Privacy International is a global civil liberties organisation that litigates to ensure that surveillance is consistent with the rule of law and advocates for strong regional, national and international laws that protect privacy. Previously, she worked with the Center for Internet and Human Rights, as a technology reporter and in the research and development department of an online newspaper. Frederike regularly speaks at tech, policy and arts conferences and comments on emerging technologies in the British and international press. She holds a master's degree in internet science the University of Oxford and a bachelor's in philosophy and politics from Maastricht University, was a researcher at the University of Amsterdam and a visiting scholar at Bogazici University Istanbul.
