Jochen Weiss

Jochen Weiss is a political advisor at the German Federal Office for Information Security. He is responsible for various issues surrounding cybersecurity and the political, economic and societal implications of digitization. In addition, he follows the German Bundestag’s NSA Committee of Inquiry. Jochen has interned at the Center for Future Security Strategies of the Hudson Institute in Washington, DC, at the German Bundestag and at the public affairs consultancy Advice Partners GmbH in Berlin. He holds a master’s degree in political science with minors in history and public law from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and studied abroad at the American University in Washington, DC.
