Qichen Zhang
Qichen Zhang is a director of product management at Splice, a cloud platform for music creation based in New York. Previously, she was a product manager for personalized programming at Spotify, where she scaled out music recommendation products such as Daily Mix and Discover Weekly. Prior to that, she launched BuzzFeed products in Canada, Mexico, Spain, and Japan, and also worked at Google. In 2016, Qichen was named a New York 92Y Women inPower fellow. She studied political blogging at the Oxford Internet Institute and conducted internet policy research at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. Her research has been funded by the Harvard Center for American Political Studies, the Asia Center Fung Foundation, and Oxford University’s Balliol College. Qichen holds a master’s degree from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.
