Jakob Bund

Jakob Bund is the project lead for the cyber defense project at the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich. Previously, he served as research associate at Oxford University's Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre (GCSCC), where he worked closely with governments, civil society and the private sector worldwide to support the inclusive development of cybersecurity strategies. Before joining GCSCC, Jakob worked as associate analyst at the European Union Institute for Security Studies, where he co-coordinated the Chinese Future Task Force to assess the international implications of China’s military modernization and industrial policies. In this role, he assisted in preparing the technology and security policy sections of the informal diplomatic dialogues between the EU and China. Jakob holds a master's degree in international economics and strategic studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a bachelor's degree in Europe-Asia relations from Sciences Po in Paris
