Prior to her current position, she worked as a corporate lawyer in a French-German law firm. Marie has worked as an intern in the human rights departments at the permanent missions of Germany to the United Nations in Geneva and New York. She is a fully qualified lawyer, having studied in Mainz, Freiburg and Geneva.
