Lisa-Maria Neudert

Lisa-Maria Neudert is the co-founder and COO of Pattrn Analytics & Intelligence, as well as a doctoral candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute in the United Kingdom. Her research concentrates on platform regulation, with a particular focus on governance around AI, content moderation and dis/misinformation. Her recent work on regulatory innovation in digital domains has appeared in The Political Quarterly and the Harvard Kennedy School Misinformation Review. Lisa-Maria’s commentary writing has appeared in The Guardian, MIT Tech Review and TechCrunch, and a host of other popular outlets. Previously, she worked as a research fellow at the Weizenbaum Institut in Berlin and held research roles at the Oxford Internet Institute, SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan and the National University of Singapore. She holds a master’s degree in social science of the internet from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree in communication science, and management and economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany. As a Fulbright Scholar, Lisa-Maria completed the Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy at the Georgetown Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington, DC.
